I bought this as I like negative space when scrapping. This item makes it easy for me to incorporate a tiny bit of journaling or pay attention to something on my layouts. Several times I have inserted just one letter, punch, repeat and by doing so I can get the letters closer together. The mechanics work well and I like the results. Fun item.

First impression: Too cute! The letters can be stored locked together, but they can be difficult to unsnap. ClearSnap has a clear double or triple layered storage box with lid! I have the letters in the top, the Punch Board in the bottom, and I precut 3/4" cardstock strips, in a variety of colors, in the third box. All of the pieces are kept together! Easy to use right out of the box for quick titling!
Just love it for adding to titles, tags, embellishments or captions to photos. A bit reminiscent of the old label makers, but using any paper of your choosing. Easy to use. I am not crazy about hooking the punches together, so I store mine in a basket. Hunting for the right letter is faster than unhooking the one I want. Thumbs up!
I love WRMK products been using them for years. I was a little disappointed with this one, the letters that it cuts out are very small and difficult to work with. I'll probably be using the negative space more. I want be using it for what I purchased it for....The way the punches connect together for storage is great but they are hard to get apart this was also an issue for me, also when I opened the box one of the punches had came apart luckily I was able to put it back together,seems to work fine now. I'm not disappointed enough to send it back I'm a crater so I'll find a use for the punch board.

Just received this punch board and oh so much fun playing with it...and the loose letters (punch outs) I'm putting them on double-sided adhesive to save for using like sticker letters...

I love We R Memory Keepers products and this one is no exception. I make greeting cards and this word punch allows me to personalize them for each recipient. It's easy to use and cuts through some pretty thick cardstock. Since the letters are small, I use double sided adhesive on the back of the cardstock before cutting them out. You also have the option of cutting words onto strips of paper and using that instead of the cut out letters. It's fun getting creative and figuring out different ways to use this product. And there are instructions to get you started. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Now we need one with symbols letters and one with numbers.
This is such a great tool. I purchased this for my Christmas scrapbooking. Creating words and phrases was easy not to mention fun. I used washi tape as well to punch out names. Love this product.

Will the word punch letters fit in the planner punch board? If so, how may I purchase the letters separetly?

We R Memory Keepers said they would and the letters could be ordered separately. However Scrapbook answers on IG at this time no they were not available to order separately. However I went and ahead and ordered the set. I figured I could have 2 punch boards in case I was using on set up to punch pages and the other for the letters. Other reason I didn’t know how it would be for just the letters to come out so went ahead and ordered and have a spare punch. May be use one to travel with too. Hope this helps make your decision.

The letters are just shy of 3/8" high. According to the package insert, they will be vertically centered on a 5/8" strip of paper.

If you want to use this a a negative space word...is it possible to purchase additional letters? My grandsons has 2 "a's in his name is the example to explain my question-I am surprised no one has asked this question! Thanks!

Unfortunately, the letters are not sold separately. However, you should be able to leave a space for the second letter and then punch it separately. Hope this helps!

I just got my new punch board with my letters, yes some of which are attached together. I can't get them separated is there a trick to this?

We have not tried this but it may work. However, as washi tape is quite thin and sticky, it may not work well for this.
