Instructions:

  • Remove the photopolymer sticky mat from the acetate sheet.
  • Place it on your workspace with the engraved side down.
  • When done, clean any ink residue with a wet wipe to avoid staining (dark colors (especially reds and blues) may still stain the mat). This will not affect the mat's function.
  • Protect the mat from staining by placing a scrap piece of paper to catch the ink when it falls off the edge of your project.
  • Wash occasionally under running water with a mild soap to keep it clean and sticky. Then air dry.
  • Rub the debris off when rinsing.

    How thick is this mat? I would like to used it on my Spellbinders better press and don�t want any thickness.

      Hello, Altenew provides the following care instructions for this mat.

      Clean any ink residue immediately with a wet wipe to avoid standing. Please keep in mind that some dark colors (especially reds and blues) will stain the photopolymer. You can protect the photopolymer mat by placing a scrap piece of paper to catch the ink when stamping off the edge of your project.     So you don�t work on sticky side? That side goes down on work surface? I thought the sticky side would hold your project like paper in place to stamp or color. Also can it be cut down to fit in regular size Misty or do you have another product you recommend for that?       Hi, you should work on the sticky side and protect it when you aren’t using it. The bumpy side keeps it from moving while you ink blend or color.       There is a grid on the back of the photopolymer, but it’s not colored in any way. It can be used to line things up but it doesn’t have inch markings or anything on it.       The grid lines are on a seperate sheet of acetate that must be removed in order for your project to stick. I was very disappointed in this fact.
