This masking tape does its job. It's a tape roll, so there is no backing on the tape. I wanted to use this to mask off a die cut image so I tried cutting the tape with my manual die machine and not terribly surprisingly, the tape stuck to the cutting mat and was unusable because it tore when I peeled it off. The next time, I laid the tape down on a piece of parchment paper and that worked well and allowed me to get the exact shape I wanted to mask on my project.
