wet, it’s very shiny with different shades of pink to peppermint. When you burnish it in (dry) it’s a light delicate pink with a gorgeous shine.
This item was a freebie special when placing an order, thank you VERY much! I love glitz and was intrigued with this product. I had also purchased the Molten Gold and reviewed that item. To review this product I used the same test as I did the Molten Gold. I used a piece of 4x6 glossy photo paper to test. After allowing my test to dry with the product sprinkled on, I was very pleased with the shades of pink, the shimmer and the "melted shimmer" look that is where excessive product may not have completely dissolve in the water droplets. In comparison to the Molten Gold, the surface texture of the dry application is much nicer than the Molten Gold (sparkle highlights - see review) and it is not so "sand" like. Because I did not overly sprinkle the shimmer, I had ample area of glossy white left. To experiment, I brushed Peacock Feathers Oxide Ink in the white glossy area. The paper with the oxide ink still has a softened gloss to it, the oxide ink slightly darkened the Pink Shimmer but did not eliminate the shimmer. Overall, I think it turned out well and I am comfortable with another method of mixing products & techniques.
I am fairly new to pigment powders. However, I love how you can control how much comes out of this little bottle. A gentle tap is all you need.

I was offered a free sample with my recent order, so took advantage of it. I had to test it right away, and, oh my, I am hooked. The effects of this powder on wet paper is amazing! I tried using a brush to get different effects and I will use this to make a Welcome Baby card. I will be purchasing other colors in the future. A little goes a long way.

I really like this beautiful pink shimmer, so easy to use, with water sprayer. Makes a nice card background.
