Definitely looks like a plum color to me. Not the literal darker kind that is similar to a prune though, lol. This has so much fine sparkle reflecting from this, it's gorgeous! I tried experimenting various ways and even worried about the water ruining the sparkle because I added a huge glob! (I was afraid because I've never used it before so I didn't know what to expect; also I did it on a very thin drawing paper to test it) it came out just fine, and this was with the paper towel soaking it up most of it without patting it down. It's basically idiot proof, but I do really recommend that you test and play with it first but it's hard to ruin art work with this unless you are meticulous, like myself and want specifics for certain things. Here's a great link showing all the colors, (as i have them all) but unless you see it in person, neither my description or this video link does it justice! Amazing, versatile product that is well worth investing because you can put this in ANYTHING! Water, glues, paints, inks, mediums.
