    Vintage Line of Stamps by Woodware

    The detail on this line of stamps is very intricate and requires very careful application of ink. I would suggest using a positioning stamper so that you can see where more ink needs to be added to get a quality image. These vintage images are fabulous and the results are just what pleases my eye!

      Also love this stamp but had to try a few things to get the result that I wanted. As with other response, I used a stamp positioner. I pre conditioned the new stamp to remove manufacturing residue, then stamped on smooth flat surface (no pad under) with pigment ink to compensate for paper porosity (what the other response accomplished with the background inking, I think), completely cleaned stamp & let the image & stamp dry thoroughly then stamped with Versafine several times with very little pressure. Memento ink was close second to Versafine but just not quite as good a result for me. By: ninaspinner (07-Feb-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!       I also purchased this stamp and loved the result. I stamped mine over an ink blended background. I stamped in black over the colored background. I used a Misti stamping tool so I could re-stamp a few times to get a good solid cover. With these more solid stamps you need to stamp a few times to get the best result. I used black versifine ink.
