I own many many of these. I use them to keep my paper collections together, my vellum nice and neat and my kits together. It's so convenient to just pull out of these folders to work with. I am able to fit about 6-7 in one vertical file

I keep all of my scraps in these folders now in the easy access paper holder next to the paper line it's from.
I use these to put matching paper, stickers, die cuts, etc. in. It is much easier when they are all together in one place. They fit perfect in the Cropper Hopper paper holder.

I bought these paper files to keep project items in one place. I make cards and for each project I can store paper, embellishments, acrylic stamp(s) so they're easily available to begin my project. I no longer need to gather up supplies because they're already gathered.
I love these files. I use them for scrap paper, and file each color next to the unused papers of the same color family. I have these in the Storage Studio paper storage holders, which I also love. These files would also be good for collecting papers, etc. for a page project.
they are perfect for holding my scrap booking paper. Each one easily holds 2 packages of coordinating Designer Series Paper. Great for organization.
I bought these to organize my scrapbook paper, I prefer these to a large box with built in folders as I can grab what I need and take it to a crop without taking my whole box. The plastic is clear and sturdy. They have a tab on top so you can label what kind of paper it is.

How thick are these? Are you able to put a label on the side, or is it accordian style?

These are not accordion style and will hold approximately 30 pieces of paper. Each file is tabbed and has a write on label but there are no sides to put the label on.

Are these files closed on three sides, with an opening at the top? Or are they like a office file folder and open on three sides and only closed on the bottom?

Are the tabbed dividers staggered or not? Are they heavy plastic? I have more than one kind of this type and one is very nice and heavy, one is thin and not really helpful and one is medium.

Why are all the tabs on one side? They used to be staggered so if you had them in a file or box you could see the tabs more easily.

There are 3 tabbed dividers, they are staggered. But they are small and hard to see, the tabs use to be larger and easier to see.

Are these paper files suitable for putting 12 x 12 printed dsp paper packs in which usually come as a pack of either 12 or 24 sheets. Would these files once filled with dsp be suitable to store in the Iris Scrapbook File Box which is 17.8" x 9.1" x 13.9"
I use these with my 14"x14x" Iris boxes filled with cardstock and paper so it should fit the larger Iris box no problem if that 9.1" is not length or width. I fit 16 pcs cardstock or 24 pcs cardstock with room enuff for flat embellishments like project life cycle cards & punchouts and thin chipboard.

I don't know how many sheets of paper this item holds, but I use a variety of "alternative" storage pockets in my Iris boxes. I have a few of the old CM "project manager" style pockets, of which there are a few on the market, and they fit nicely IN BETWEEN my Iris hanging files. They are a bit thick to put in the files themselves. I've got a few pockets in a similar style to the one on this page - if they aren't too full, they go into the hanging folders. But they also work and are seen just fine in between the folders themselves. HTH!
