Cover a lot of area with the Non-Stick Ergo Bone Folder from Dress My Craft. There is one 3" x 2" teflon bone folder included that is handmade and can be used to fold leather, paper, fabric and more.
Love, love, love this bone folder. Very comfortable in my hand. I volunteer at my Church and sometimes we have to fold letters to send out in bulk. I took this bone folder to use. Very impressed how it can fold as many as 7 printer paper weight paper with very crisp folds at once. Worth every penny especial with arthritic fingers.
I am thrilled with this bone folder - it is so comfortable to use (I have arthritis), and perfect for smoothing larger surfaces of paper when making mini albums and cards. Gives a lovely crease too. I did remove the label because it affected the smooth feel of the tool. I also love the packaging!
I was really surprised at this Teflon bone folder that doesn’t look like your traditional ones. It really feels stable in the palm of your hand saving my poor arthritis fingers. You almost hold it like a pen in your hand, but it is very ergonomically friendly. Try it you’ll be surprised. It reminds me of the old sewing chalks we used to use in the same shape.
I love how this feels in the hand, easy to hold and reates beautiful folds in my cards.
This bone folder makes it so easy to make sharp folds with not a lot of effort. I have carpal tunnel and I can use this with no pain. It makes folds perfectly and doesn't leave the line you sometimes get with a regular bone folder.
Seriously, I thought I was just getting another gadget. This bone folder is the bomb. It fits my hand perfectly. It allows me to press my folds or score tape easily but with more pressure than the larger ones. I can't express in words how much these old aged hands love the feel of this Ergo Craft Bone Folder. I highly recommend it.
Don't expect a storage case. This arrived in a small rectangle/square box with black firmer foam protection inside to hold the bone secure and safe. NO CASE. Note description does not say anything about a case. Due to the image & I had checked another webpage with same image that did state case included I jumped to conclusion. No stars off. This review is about the bone. There is another brand with similar shaped bone. I think they are similar but do not own that one. I found this very helpful & deserves 5 stars for it's usefulness for some of us with finger/wrist/hand problems. I definitely found this great for creasing papers. I love to use specialty papers but due to vision problems the past 2-3 years I've turned to paper trimmers with an included score blade. I ordered a second one in this order btw. I needed to have a travel one too. I had hoped to find an 8" long bone or shorty but ended up with another over 12" long. This bone helps finish a crease fold after the score. So cards lay flat better. I used to stack weight on them like a ream of unopened paper or 9x12 stack of Anna Griffin magnetic sheets. Both are fantastic weights to flatten cards or multiple folded stacks of cards before placing in envelopes over night. Now this bone is wonderful for so many of my paper media boxes and baskets and lanterns 3D items that have multiple folds including narrow seams for glue. No longer need to use weights. I keep 3-6 clean acrylic and glass paper weights handy to hold glued seams together until set too. Watch for glass weights at yard sales with lots of flat sides. Or even large ones with good base flat end that often are perfect too and easy to pick up and move about as you work. Cleaning up sticky glue remnants is easy with glass but usually with acrylic blocks too. I may buy a second one of these by the way because I tend to misplace and I also keep a travel bag of paper working tools to take along in my RV and to friends/workshops etc.
I sure like this bone folder a lot better than my others :o)
Used in this project: CHRISTMAS CARD
This is a very unique device and will work well for my arthritic hands. Great price point. I would recommend it.
