I love this trimmer. It cuts clean and is very easy to use. I had a Cutterpede but it broke. This one is exactly the same. Great quality.
This is one of the best portable trimmers I have found on the market. The arm has never broken on me and I now own 6 of these. Its the only portable trimmer I would buy. I have tried them all and I have had terrible results with fiskars and Dahl. This trimmer will cut straight as long as you swap out the cutting mat ( you can swap it 4 times before needing to purchase a new one), thus the mat lasts a long time and the blade last even longer. My blades last about a yr. Now that they have changed the name I plan to get the new version too. I love this trimmer. I have a professional trimmer for at home use, but I still reach for this one even at home.
I just bought this to replace a Fiskars I've used for many years. THIS EK Success paper cutter WON'T CUT SQUARE. The extending ruler isn't set at right angles so paper always cuts crooked. The widest you can cut without the extended arm is 2". I live in a nursing home and spend my time catching up on my scrapbooking, so this is important to me.
I gave it one star because it is pretty.
I love the cut, and got one to replace my cutterpede when the measuring arm broke. I only had it a couple of weeks when the measuring arm on this one broke at the bend. I'm frankly very disappointed, and if the arm didn't bend, I'd give it 5 stars.
Just bought this paper trimmer to cut Cardstock - it won't cut straight. Forget using the bendable, movable arm to line things up, rather use the steady line, the problem there is you only get a couple inches to line up your cardstock. Even with that lined up, it doesn't cut straight. Making a Gate-fold card I end up with 2 opposite ends that are slanted and stick out past the res of the card. Very disappointed.

I Love it so far! Haven't had the chance to use it much
I used my Cutter Bee trimmer for many years and even bought 3 as gifts for friends over the years. I travel a bit and take my projects and cutter with me. Unfortunately I dropped it and broke the ruler. I just ordered and bought a new Cutter Bee but am having a hard time trying to extend the ruler out......and I'm afraid if I pull it too hard it will snap and break. Can you give me some advice on how to safely pull the ruler out of it's holding compartment. Thank you!

I just talked to corporate office and they don't make them and the blade and trimmer have been discontinued for at least 2 years. Vanessa, do you know where I can find them?

The last time I purchased replacement blade and cutting mat (some time ago) they were on sale at Scrapbook.com. Looking at previous answers it appears they may have been selling out because the cutter was discontinued.
