This ink applicator is great putting different colors together and get PLENTY AND PLENTY cotton to stick to applicator.
But one tiny problem sometimes the cotton falls of the applicator and then you have a small mess. So I keep buying new applicators so my cotton will stick. They do work for a long time.
But, I love this product!!!. Been using this product when I started watching Dee Guenig on Carol Duvall. LOVE CAROL DUVALL
This is a very effective applicator, however I would prefer to see the sticky bottom that the felt attaches to with a better design to stay in place with more frequent use.
I bought this tool after I went to a class with an instructor who had taken a class with Tim Holtz. She took this applicator and ripped off the foam pad, put a couple of glue dots where the foam used to be and attached a square of cut n dry foam. Then she dabbed this in Tim Holtz distressing ink. She laid her project on the Nonstick Craft Mat from Ranger and started inking away in a circular motion. This produced the most uniform, blended, gorgeous inking technique I have ever seen!! SO if not for the alcohol inks, buy this tool to make your own inking tool, just like Tim Holtz did.

I love this tool as much as I love the ink blending foam tool. It is so easy to apply the alcohol inks by just tapping.

I'm still learning about what I can do with alcohol inks, but this tool really comes in handy. however, after only like the 2nd time using it, the handle pulled off! I used glue dots to hold it down, which seems to do the trick besides being a bit loose.

This is so very easy to use. Put the pad on, ink it up, stamp, stamp, stamp, and remove and disgaurd when finished. Fast & Easy!
