Get your crafting in gear with the Regular Tag and Gears Metal Dies from the Staples Collection by Graphic 45. There are 2 thin metal dies included in the package. One die measures 3.375" x 4.5" and the other measures 3.75" x 5.75". The dies are acid and lignin free and coordinate with Regular Tags and are compatible with most die cutting machines each sold separately.
Love these dies! They cut perfectly with one pass. It's a nice-sized tag, but the gears are the real reason I bought the set. I cut it with copper glitter paper - what a great effect! And you can cut all the gears apart easily and place them around your layout or card, plus some of the "scraps" that fall out are useable, too - it's a win-win!
Can't believe I ever tried to embellish a G45 tag with out this die, what a better looking tag this makes! I love using the G45 pre-made tag-n-pocket albums and using this die makes a perfect fit even around the grommet so that it looks finished and not "blockey" .
These fit perfectly over the Graphic 45 tags and I could do the front and back in less than a minute on my Empress cutting & embossing machine.
This tag cutting die is perfect for cutting out paper to fit the tags included in the G45 mini album. I will be getting the other sizes too!

what is the best cutting machine to start with? I'm new at this
I actually like a rotary cutter. I have the original Fiskars brand and have been using it for years. For smaller piece cuts, I use the smaller personal size Fiskars cutter; I can also take that one with me to scrapbooking/card making events. Hope this helps.
