  Great Cutter

  I have used the small guillotine trimmers for years. I love them. This works just as I expected. I actually wear them out or they get dull. So I replace every once in a while.

  Good Size for Small Projects

  I wanted a small guillotine trimmer because I think they are more accurate than the blade kind, and can cut multiple sheets of paper at a time. So far this one is super sharp and holds the paper down firmly. It is also very light. I do wish it was 8x8, since I use a lot of those pads.

  Sorry, but this guillotine pales in comparison to my older unit. The cut is great as long as the paper is less than 50# and you’re not cutting more than a page at a time. However, because the arm pulls out to lock or unlock, the blade will stray if you are trying to cut more than one piece of 80-100# stock. Although it is lite as advertised, it feels very flimsy. I will most likely return this item.
