This Intense Black Ink Pad is from Hero Arts. This ink pad is perfect for everyday stamping and inks up your stamps of any size easily. This ink is quick-drying and permanent when heat set. This ink can be used with alcohol markers and many watercolor techniques. This ink is acid free, fade-resistant, and archival. This ink pad has a raised pad that measures 3.5" x 2.25"
I was getting inconsistent results from my Memento black so I switched to this. Side by side, this is one wins hands down. This is blacker and doesn't bleed even on some poor quality card stock I was trying to use up. The Memento bled and looks gray next to the Hero Arts. Hero Arts Intense black is my new favorite black ink.
I found this black the best I have used. The images stamped come out clear and can be used with most, if not all, media.
The Hero Arts ink pad is awesome. The color of ink is nice and dark, and stamps your image nicely the first time.
This is a nice, solid black ink. I find I get the best results if you use a stamp platform (I use the Tim Holtz one) and stamp the image twice. The black then comes out nice and crisp. It is also good to use with Chameleon Alcohol Markers and doesn't smear.
I was struggling to find a black ink pad to use with my alcohol markers. At the time all shops seemed to be out of all black ink to use with them. Luckily I this one, it's a nice bold black, stamps nice and NO smearing with my markers. I recommend this ink.
Good stuff :o)
Used in this project: BLANK CARD
Works well. Some of my older stamps smudge with it but I think i"m pressing too hard.
Loved this, makes stamping much easier!
this, ink smears. Even if I let it dry a bit. It does smear with water. To me it was a waste
