I hope the refills are in stock soon because this little gadget is smokin. I read all the reveiws before I bought this and I'm so glad I purchased it. I can now keep my tape nice and straight. It glides like butter too. Try it you won't be sorry.
When I saw the price, I thought twice about buying this product...but it was worth every single penny! This is the easiest-to-use adhesive runner I have ever tried! You know how each runner is unqiue, and you kind of have to "get your groove" with each new one? Not so with the Kokuyo~ just put it down on the paper, slide it along the page, and out it comes, first try! It even turns smoothly around corners! It does most opf the work for you--you simply guide it, and off it goes! I am never going to buy the cheapest adhesive runner in the store just because it is cheap, KNOWING that it is inferior! (Not that I don't LOVE a good sale...!) I use so much adhesive (even with jsut a little piece on each corner,) that I HAVE to have a few good ones. NOW for the refills--they just drop in! Open the cartrdige, drop in the refill, close it, and you are on your way! I have a firend who can't figure out how to use a tape runner. i am sending her one of these!
While my all-time favorite scrapbook adhesive is the Scotch ATG, I always make sure I have a small stock of these guys on hand, as well. Sometimes on a small project I need more fine control than I get with the ATG, and the Tape 'n Roller is the perfect solution. It is so easy to use, it turns corners and handles curves like a fine sportscar might. And the adhesive is very agressive. I often use it on mini-albums.
I took a class at the Creative Keepsakes Convention here in Houston and we were altering a wooden frame. The instructor gave us each one of the Kokuyo Tape Rollers to keep and use on our projects.
This adhesive is awesome! It glides out like butter, has a unique feature to the tape that has lil slits so you can use it on round corners and shapes. It really sticks to your project and doesn't come up! Worth every penny!
I heard all the raves about Kokuyo and have always been an 3L diehard. A friend at a crop was using her K-runner as she calls it. WOW.... I was coveting it the whole day! I immediately bought the runner and the last refill that was on the pegs at a nearby store. These things are never in stock at my local store and for good reason. Even Google-ing them I find them out of stock. Smooth sailing on this and it sticks the most heaviest of cardstocks. This is well worth the price! When you find one, snatch it up!
I love this dispenser and miss using it, I do not need a new one only the refills for it . Do you know what permanent refill I could use. Ro;
