I thought long and hard before I made this purchase because there are so many great dies out there. I had to make sure that I would use it more than once. Well, to my delight, in a short time, I have used it more than any other die I own.
I use it with a magnetic plate to hold it in place and the results are stunning
I like that I can use these borders to give my frames a little more style. I also like the versatility that I can use them on pretty much any size frame that will fit through my die cut machine, I'm not limited to pre-cut rectangles and only one pattern--like I would be if I had only bought the stitched rectangle dies.
Like my dear ol' Pa used to say, "I needed these like I needed a hole in my head!" But ... when I seen them ... I had to have them to complete my collection! The tiny stitches add the perfect border and interest that I was looking for. Easy to use and well crafted. LOVE all 4 designs! =)
You can use only on one side of your card or like a frame, single or doble.
These little buggers are wonderful for adding that special touch.
Just remember they do not cut, they emboss..
I guess I should have watched the video below this product because I expected it to actually cut out a border, not just stamp the impression. So very disappointed and because I already took them apart, I can't return them. I guess what I could do is just take my card stock or paper, run the border through my Big Shot and then use my paper cutter to make the border strips...
Really like the look of the design but the don't fit through my Cuttlebug. You have to put them through side ways. Makes it a little harder but still pretty.
