Well, you certainly get your money's worth with this one. I especially love the stippling brush. I used it last night with the inks to create a soft aged edge to my plain cardstock. I was so impressed with the effect. Then, I started playing with the files and using them to rough up some of my metal embellishments. Again, there is so much in this kit you can basically distress paper, chipboard AND metal embellishments. I am so happy with mine.

There's an old adage that says, "You can do anything if you have the right tools." This tool kit makes altering and distressing projects completely possible. I have this kit within reach at my drawing table and have made many great altered looks using the different tools. Beginners might not know what to do with everything in this kit; yet. But it won't be long before they'll know just what each can do. I've given this as a gift and my friend raved about it and now uses it regularly.

I love the look of distressed pages; in my opinion, every layout looks better if it's aged a little here and there. And this kit makes it so easy to do all kinds of distressing. When I bought this kit, I had sanded, inked and chalked before but I wanted to try a couple new things too. With this kit, I learned how to dye, striate, do faux stitching and more. And my absolute favorite tool in the kit is the edger! Now I distress everything in sight! (I told my dh not to sit still too long or I might distress him!!!) And I found that when I'm stressed, distressing helps me de-stress. It's quite therapeutic and looks great on all your layouts.

I love this kit! It gives you everything you need, and more to create great distressed effects on your Layouts, Cards, and Paper Crafting projects!
The 3 Ink Pads are the classic colors needed to distress your embellishments and paper. The size and shape of the pads make it so easy to get a good, smooth inked paper edge with no hard lines! The sandpaper block is great for large surfaces and the sandpaper "files" are great for those smaller surfaces. The kit even includes chalk, brushes, aging dye, pounser, edging comb, bone folder, and more!
I use this kit on EVERY project, no exageration!

Okay...um, I *could* go into detail about everything that's included in this kit, but it's already listed in the product description so I would just be repeating it - - and that's a LOT of stuff!
To put it basically, this distressing kit has EVERYTHING that you need to instantly add antiquity to your LOs or other crafts. I've heard someone else say that they've even used this kit to distress small furniture items!
I have a LOT of those foam brushes around here! They have so many uses! And the tools in this kit work great, too...and the inks are really good - it's ALL good and worth the money!

Really, don't need the sandpaper, brushes, inks or chalk. But the sanding block is awesome, the edge distresser is a much have. My favorite tool...the one I break out regularly....the pounce wheel. What is a pounce wheel? Well, it is a wheel that has little pokeys on it, so as the tool turns on your paper it makes little holes, these holes don't go all the way thru your paper, but the do go far enough to give the appearance of a hole. And, after you have the holes....a quick trip down the line with a pen and you have totally realistic stitching. I kinda know how to sew, certainly well enough to make a border around a page, but why bother when this is so quick, easy and fabulous.

When I received this kit, I didn't think I would use very much of it - definately a couple of things, but not all of them. Wow, was I mistaken... I have used this kit over and over - so much so that I now have two because of all the fabulous things that come in it. There are sponge paint brushes, a bone folder, sand paper, sanding blocks, ink, steel wool, an edge distresser and so much more! I use this whenever I am wanting to achieve an altered look - which is most of the time and it was great for a travel album I did as well as several heritage projects I've done. And, it comes in a neat little box so everything is together.
