This paper's artwork reminds me of home, when I was growing up. We lived in an old house built in the late 1800s and I still miss it. We usually had snow in the winter in NJ and I love the snow in the background--takes me right back home in my childhood. I love the colors and style of the house and background. the house is too large an image for an A-2 card, but I might try to use parts of it on a card, or I'll make a Christmas decoration out of it. Love the tree, but I wouldn't leave a wrapped gift outside for anyone to take for himself/herself... :D (I know---I'ts just art, which is why I love this side of the paper.)
I also love the reverse side, as I really like plaids, but what I really like is the sprinkling of white antiquing, which is sprinkled sparsely all over the plaid. That just gives the whole plaid side a homey, warm feeling and I love that aspect. I hand-trimmed the white strip on the bottom of the plaid side off to use on other projects.
I'm real happy with this purchase.
I think this may be the most beautiful paper I’ve ever bought! The quality is excellent - weighty cardstock. However, what really impresses me is the design. Gorgeous- worthy of framing - which I just may do!
