      This mouse pad thing is to replace the pad that comes with the Misti. The pad that comes with the Misti has paper grid paper on top which gets ink on it when stamp. You can go through quite a bit of them. This pad is laminated with grid lines and you can wipe it off to use over and over. Mine hasn't stained with any inks I have used.
