It wasn't until after getting this style of blender brush that I realized how much easier this is to use than the makeup type brushes. This one has the handle right over the top of the bristles, rather than off to the side like the makeup brushes have, thus giving great results with less pressure. I have some paralysis in one hand and this is when I realized how much easier this ergonomic style brush is to use especially for someone who does a lot of ink blending or has limitations in their hands or wrists. But besides all that, I'm loving the results of this style of the Pink and Main brushes.
I'm still experimenting with what I like to use this for and with. It's a lovely soft brush so great to clean off glitter and excess chalk too. Butit's a blender brush and love the mini size. I may order a second once I narrow down what I use it most for as for right now it's a toss up between as a cleanup tool and a blender. My next experiment is with gilding like waxes to see if it blends them well or not. I have trouble with daubers getting the mix just right with gilding products. It was free so I get to play...
I finally used this last night, I really liked it. I did an ombre background using distress oxide inks, I held the brush between two fingers close to the palm of my hand. I am arthritic and it was easy to use. and easy to clean with a mild detergent and a textured silicone pad. I inverted the brush on the holder to dry. I like the size but would definitely consider buying a larger one as well. A good purchase and recommend it.
I like this mini blender brush. I didn't have any of the blender brushes and now, I do and it will be interesting to work with it. Mostly, all I have are the foam blenders.
This blender brush is of good, solid quality and the brush part is protected by the brush holder.
