      Hi! The corresponding “shadow die” measures approximately 4 3/4 “ in length, therefore can only be used in a horizontal orientation on a 51/2 x 41/4 card. The 4 individual word dies “you are the best” vary in size but are approximately 1” in length and 3/4 “ in width ( give or take) so obviously can be used vertically or horizontally.       Yes, you can use these dies as is ( with the shadow layer) if the card is designed as landscape ( horizontal).
      If you want to use it for a portrait oriented card, you can use the individual words ( without the shadow layer) arranged on your card.
