This A2 Ghost House Cover Plate Die is part of the Halloween Collection from Picket Fence Studios. This die features a haunted house on a hill with a wolf howling in the door and a bat. This die is compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). This die can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, and other paper crafting projects. This die measures 4.2" x 5.45".
This is an intricate die cut. I used a 100lb paper with this die cut and it did not cut all the way in several places. Next I used a lighter weight paper (65lb) and it still did not cut everything.
I have a Sizzix Big Shot. I used for my sandwich the magic mat and a hard top plate with a shim. Did not work on either tries. I used a top and bottom hard plate and could not get the door entrance to cut clean. So I placed 2 more smaller shims just at the door, with the 2 hard plates and finally got a good cut. It was still hard to get the final die cut cleanly out!!! Love the design, not the difficulty of the die cut!
