It does the job, but I've found that there's sometimes small little gaps when cured (but this could of course be user error). I haven't had that defect with the other brand of embossing powder I use; the other brand is Lawn Fawn, and my embossing ink is Lawn Fawn as well, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
Superfine white that is just beautiful on projects. Ranger offers the best quality of anyone out there.
This lovely superfine embossing powder is great for fine detail stamping. I use it for my fall and Halloween cards especially with darker, richer colors of card-stock. The white shows up beautifully against those darker colors. It melts to a solid, glossy finish.
I really like Ranger products, but the super fine embossing powder is something every crafter needs when embossing letters/sentiments as it is much "lighter" than usual so that your image is much clearer.
I had used detail powder from another company but it did not show the detail of the stamp so I gave this a try and it worked great!!
I used it on some of my fine-detail Prima Finnabair stamps, and didn't lose a bit of the detail.

I had some old white embossing powder and it had turned yellowish and not working well. This extra fine did a very good job, but white can be tricky on dark card stock so be sure text is not too small, and use anti static powder.
I am new to embossing and this powder was easy to use. I have a cheap heat gun and use a mediocre card stock and this powder still looks great. Brilliant white.
It works wonders on dark cardstock. The white makes it stand out a lot better then on lighter card stock. This ultimately could be used for anything. I just like it to be used for my wording on dark cardstock.
This is opaque white and not see-through. I have been searching for this type of white for a while... yeah, a while. I love the coloring of it and the ease of use. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏 🙌

Can embossing powders work with ANY colored ink or just embossing ink?

The dye inks, etc. dry too fast and the powder won't stick... so it's best to use with a slow drying ink such as an embossing ink and/or a pigment ink.
