Excellent... as long as you don't use the included instructions!
I've only made one book with this machine, but so far I'm really enjoying it! It punches through 15 sheets of paper, acrylic, and wood like butter, and feels incredibly solid and durable. However, my main complaint - and the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review - is the instruction booklet. It's just.... wrong.
I was making a book with a 7.5" spine. There's 2 places in the book that detail how many holes I'd need to punch; one place (a chart that just said how many holes to punch and with which technique) said 13 holes. The second place (detailed instructions for how to "perfectly line up" punches for different sized spines) said 14 holes. Ok, I said. I'll go with the detailed instructions. Thankfully I used a scrap piece of chipboard to test my punches, because after 4 failed attempts, my holes were shifted nearly 1/4 an inch off center in spite of the fact that I followed the directions perfectly. I ended up just eyeballing it in the center and going from there, and the book came out well (I rushed pressing the binding wires so one end came out a bit smushed).
Overall, definitely a handy and powerful little machine, though I would DEFINITELY recommend looking for instructions elsewhere. The booklet that's included just isn't trustworthy IMO.
