This track Circle Frame die gives you 5 different circle tracks sizes to choose from. These tracks can be used in the background for some of the other dies in this collection (sold separately), or they can be used as a geometric pattern on a card, journal page, scrapbook page, or other paper crafting project. The largest die measures 4" x 4" and the smallest die measures 1.25" x 1.25". These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately).
I usually do not give negative reviews here. However, in this case I must say that I am disappointed with this die set.
If I use it on lighter weight paper the design bends out of shape. I tried it with a heavier paper. In both cases the question arose…where to put the adhesive to hold it in place. Tiny bits of adhesive were the answer there. But it is tedious to use. The cutout pieces are difficult to remove and some don’t cut completely so the die must be layered with something else to cover the empty space. This happened even after I cut on the diagonal and used wax paper. For me, using layers of dryer sheets to remove the pieces adds extra expense and time to the Cards for Kindness. Unfortunately the rules for returning an item did not allow me to return it.
In response to the first reviewer who found it hard to figure out to glue these down, I found what worked really well was using Micro Dot Adhesives Sheets. Basically, turning them into stickers. Then by holding just ones spot and touching it to the project it seems to just lay itself down straight. I did have to put an extra piece of CS as a shim to get them to cut out perfectly. No problem.
My only complain is- wish there were some sample ideas of how to use them and also what the tiny inner circle is for??
