Prima - Art Basics - Heavy Gesso - White - 8.5 Ounces

Try using the White Heavy Gesso by Prima on art journals, mixed media canvases, cards, tags and so much more! This white, opaque, matte ground acrylic is perfect as a primer for most surfaces including chipboard, fabric, metal, paper, wood and more. It also works amazingly well for a variety of color products by providing a smooth, non-yellow, chalky background. Simply apply Gesso with a palette knife or paintbrush (sold separately). One 8.5 fl. oz. jar of white Gesso that dries quickly, is non-toxic and is archival-safe is included.

  I love the effect that gesso gives. if you put it on with a rough brush then use the distressing inks it gives it a very vintage old look plus if you're doing a summer page for a boat it gives it that wood grain look.
