I bought this on a whim to try out. I love the soft silky color of the wax. It is very creamy and easy to use. A little bit of wax goes a long way. I love how it adds just enough color and sheen to light papers. I did find it to have a nice smell to it. The Vintage Silk is one color I will keep in my stash to use on many projects.

In the original packaging, it looked like a cross blend between a creamy light ivory or off white color and gold. It was even on the front of the tin. On the bottom part of this new this packaging, I'm concerned that it'll be grey-ish looking because of the front color ad/tag. Has this color been changed a bit or re-designed without the logo?

Hello! The color of the wax has not changed at all, just the packaging. It is still a very pretty vintage silk color- no grey at all!

Does this wax have an added scent? One reviewer said no, another said yes. If so, is it the same as the Metallique Wax? Thank you.

It doesn't have an added scent but it is a beeswax-based paste so that maybe the scent some notice.
