I agree with the other answer....sort of. I don't think this is the same quality as copy paper, or at least the cheap copy paper I purchase, but it is NOT card stock weight. That said, I used this paper for a lovely gift for my daisy loving daughter-in-law at Christmas time. I made pages for her journal with it. The paper is NOT see through and the scraps made perfectly lovely bookmarks when laminated. Depending on the usage of your booklet cover, I would say that it is heavy enough for a TN cover with little usage planned or great for a cover when glued or taped to an existing cover or chip board.
