I haven't used it much but it looks a little more pink/red when just inking on paper I haven't stamped with it yet not a real bright red sort of rustic hence the name barn door :) . It will still work good for me

Whether for Christmas cards, Valentine's day, whatever the theme, these ink pads work with any type of stamp. I use them for coloring with a brush, the uses are endless. I've got one that I've had for close to twenty years, I store them upside down so the pad doesn't dry out.
