This Uncharted Mariner bundle contains one Distress Embossing Glaze and one Clear Embossing Ink Pad designed by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. The Distress Embossing ink pad measures 2" x 2" and is a felt pad. The ink is acid-free, non-toxic, and is specially formulated to work with the Distress Embossing Glaze. This embossing ink produces a vintage worn and weathered look. The Uncharted Mariner Distress Embossing Glaze is a 1 ounce jar of glaze that will add dimension to all of your crafting projects. This is a translucent glaze and can also be used with the Distress Embossing Dabber and Embossing Pens (sold separately). These Uncharted Mariner products are made in the USA.
This ink is a must when working with embossing powders. I really like this brand the best. Being new to embossing I have tried several different ones. This along with the distress powders give that aged look that most people love. It also is a slow drying so it allows time to work with your powders. Great product!

I love this embossing pad! Don't let the "Distressed" name scare you!! (Although I love the Distressed line, and all things Tim Holtz!) I used this pad to emboss large areas and it held the embossing powder beautifully and I got great results!
I definately will be buying more of these!

I've tried other brands of embossing inks, but none have come anywhere close to this one! It really doesn't give any kind of distress effect with just your average embossing powders, but it stays wet for up to 5 mins - I tried it! The fact that it doesn't dry quickly also helps give your images the most crisp appearance, so no more partial polka dots or stars! lol I will never waste time or money using another brand of embossing ink ever again.

Water mark or heat embossing, this pad is a wonderful addition to my supplies! Unlike other brands of embossing fluid that are tinted and claim to dry clear but still leave a tint to clear or translucent colors, this embossing ink goes on clear, dries clear, and leaves your heat embossed items looking great! Highly recommended!

I just started learning to emboss my cards with powders this pad is great because it stays wet long enough for me to get my powder open and sprinkle it on.

I purchased this because it’s clear and I had some snow embossing powder that I didn’t want to use any color with. It has a soft foam pad so at some time you will need a reinker. I placed die cut snowflakes on top of the foam and lightly tapped and proceeded with applying the powder and heating. They came out great even though the embossing powder wasn’t a Ranger product.

This inks are the best! They come in a lot of colors and they're perfect for inking paper. One of the things I love the best too is that if you use this ink on a rubber/clear stamp you get this really great aged look. i just LOVE these!!!

This is my second one, love this embossing ink. I want to get more of the embossing powder someday. I love to do the wording on front of cards and it is great to use for enhancing flowers and butterflies.

I am very pleased with this embossing ink pad. I purchased the ink pad and the re-inker after seeing a review online. This has become one of my favorite Tim Holtz products when creating my cards.

This is a nice embossing ink that's a little less thick/sticky than some of the embossing inks on the market, seems to be a better viscosity to this one.
