just picked these up and tried them out. wrote on S U thick whisper white paper, just normal good grade white cardstock, but even though the ink comes out smooth and dark black, it dries a dark GRAY color!!! tried it on a couple types of white paper, but still the same. THIS is NOT good for black writing color. if you are looking for a dark gray, they are perfectly nice markers, good ink flow, clip shut cap and nice thin lines.
