I bought an assortment of the different "clear" Stickles, and they are all lovely, *except* for this one. Upon application, while it is still wet, it looked so lovely, but once it dried, it has a very distinct yellowish cast to it - like you would see from very old glue that had yellowed over time.
I was really disappointed as I had put a lot of time into the card I was making, and I'd applied the Stickles at the end, to highlight some "snowy areas" on the card, and I thought it was ruined now. Who wants yellowish snow!! Luckily, I was able to go back over the Twinkle stickles with some Crystal Ice stickles & managed to completely hide the icky yellow, but I won't be using this one again.
This was on white cardstock - I did try a little bit on a scrap of colored cardstock (bright red). It worked OK, the yellowing didn't really show up to a highly noticeable degree on the red - but still, I will stick to the other "icy" colors. It's a shame though - each 'clear' color has a slightly different appearance & I wish I could use this one!
I am trying this color of Stickles out right now and, so far, so good. It looks like it has a million stars shining within it.
Twinkle lives up to the name. This is one of the many Stickles that makes you go ahh! Perfect accent to many projects.
