Beginner card maker here. I have several brands of inks. They were okay then I found Simon's inks and oh my they're a dream to use. I've spent hours playing with these inks trying to learn things I've seen in videos. Very first thing I tried after I made swatches for my book was ink blending. It was as easy as you see in videos. Even on printer paper! You will not regret buying any of Simon Hurley inks.

This is a color I did not have and it fits well with the other Simon Hurley ink pads that I: have.
I now have all of the colors that are out and I like how they work with water!

Simon makes such good inks--they are so vibrant--and economical--His videos are awesome also--if you want to see him using these inks--btfl colors
