It's easy to emboss when you have the 2 Pack Distress Embossing Pens from Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. There is one brush tip pen and one bullet tip pen included in the package. The pens are formulated with clear ink that works with Distress Embossing Glaze (sold separately) and are made in the USA.
Bought these to use with new Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Glazes on small embellishment pieces. Adhesive pens are not something I have used regularly in the past. Although I found it does not take much to prime the tip, the nib did seem to feather and flatten easily with only a little use so gentle pressure is recommended. It does a good job applying adhesive to intricate cuts and worked very well edging paper to apply glaze ( pretty effect!) I would highly recommend purchasing extra replacement nibs if you will be using this pen regularly. I store these pens upright with nib end down.
I love this pen, used it to fix some spots my stamp and embossing powder missed. So easy to use and gave me perfect coverage. I also used it to write and then emboss. I have not used the brush tip but I'm sure it will be just as good as the bullet tip.
I love these embossing Pens. so easy to emboss lettering now.
I really like using the embossing pen to “color in intricate places” n then adding embossing powders. I’ve used it a lot in cardmaking, sentiments, n mixed media
If you just want a small area to apply embossing powder, this pen is a must.
The pens work perfectly for tight spaces
I used the brush tip on some vines on a card I was asked to make and the out come was amazing. Some of the leaves covered completely and some did not and had a marbled effect. It was cool. Lots of possibilities with these pens.
Quick shipping!. Like this pen for smaller creations!
I love the distressing glaze - though I need to find a good tutorial so I learn its different uses. I particularly like the accompanying pens which, due to their versatility, I can’t live without now! They’re perfect for fixing mistakes, adding detail to an almost-finished project and for writing curly sentiments for vintage projects. A must for a craft space. Thank you Scrapbook.com
