Add a rainbow of color to your mixed media projects with the Set 1 Distress Crayons by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. These distress crayons are formulated to achieve vibrant coloring effects on porous surfaces and the smooth water-reactive pigments are perfect for creating brilliant backgrounds, smudge effects, watercolor designs, and so much more. This set includes six crayons (Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, and Peacock Feathers) that are great when blending with water and then layering with Distress Inks or Stains (sold separately) for lots of fun projects!
Love these. Fun to play with and I tried several techniques. They blend beautifully. I like them when I gesso the surfac first, they seem to spread and blend best this way, but still work on "naked" surface too. I also used them with my stencils it several ways with great results.
Love the creaminess of these and that they won't break as easily as my other brand crayons. And service....Wow! Came in 2 days, and they're always so nice.
I bought a set when they first came out, after using them one time I knew I had to get the others. I now have all 3 sets. Highly recommend them.
These crayons provide new and fun colors to the rest of the Tim Holtz palate. (They may be my fave....)
Love these crayons, I bought two sets and very happy with them. I have been telling my friends how much I'm enjoying them. Great products by Tim Holtz, love the colors and so easy to use.
I got all three and look forward to using them. I have not ever had a problem or been disappointed with any Tim Holtz products. Also love Scrapbook.com

Because of taking Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 103 I love these Distress Crayons more than Gelatos. There are so many more fun properties these have that allow you to do fun and amazing looks. So now I've bought all available colors and you should too!

I love the creamy texture. You can get this lines or thicker as well as use a water brush to get a watercolor effect.
