Incorporate a hint of warm sunset orange into your mixed media creativity with the Crackling Campfire Distress Paint by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. This matte finish, water-based acrylic paint comes in a 1 oz. flip top lid bottle that allows for quick and easy application with brushes and blending tools. Use with wood, glass, plastic, paper, stamps, metal and more. This acrylic paint is reactive with water.
The top on the last couple of Distress Paint bottles is different from previous bottles. It therefore does NOT fit in the Scrapbook.com Color Case as stated in the description. So while I would recommend the PAINT, I would also recommend your description be changed as it is now misleading.
Distress colors are rich and vibrant. There are no other colors like them. I’ve used them for collage backgrounds in the past and they worked beautifully. But, having forgotten how extremely fluid they are, I bought Speckled Egg and Crackling Campfire because I couldn’t resist. ;o) I tried everything to get them to work on my gel plate. Tried Pinterest suggestions, watched a few videos, tried mixing them w PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paint, which I thought might make them less watery. They just bead up on the gel plate. I was so disappointed.
