    More burnt orange toned

Like another commenter on a review for the new color, I too unfortunately made that same mistake and brought the regular ink one too first, even though the oxide was my first choice. Agreed, that the oxide type has a more a burnt fiery orange look that's closer to the rust color as I compared this color to two other shades which I'll mention below. Both this one and the ink are pigmented with every drop, but this type (the oxide) has a slightly "ash-like" finish when dries. Don't know if that's an oxide thing as it is my first time getting one but it's great for this color. It is perfect for fall yes, but I needed it as a best match for an authentic flames look. Both are pretty but oxide is closer to orange when dry than the ink, which has a redder tone when dry but you can still see the orange. Overall I would say think intense orange. Like a cross between fired brick with rusty hinge and a bright blood look too. Hope that made sense.
