Is this real natural mica flake, or plastic flakes made to simulate genuine mica ? Thank you

The Distress Mica Flakes are not genuine mica they are synthetically made to look like mica.
can this be used with ranger ink?

Yes, it can be used with any ink. It isn't heat emboss-able...but more like a glitter.
