You're going to have a crafting field day creating mixed media projects that are certainly going to WOW with this Metallic Bundle! Included in this must-have bundle are Distress Spray Stains by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. Metallic stains are designed for quick and easy ink coverage on paper and porous surfaces. The package includes three 1.9 fluid ounce bottles (mist) that have a quality mist sprayer and are acid free. Included colors are Tarnished Brass, Brushed Pewter, and Antiqued Bronze.
Love the pewter shade, lighter less bling than silver but more elegance than grey itself.

Love the color. The stain will give highlights to my artwork for distressed inks .

I saw Laura use it on an out of space card. I purchased the stamp and dies but this was out of stock. This is an Amazing color, even-more in person.

I ordered all three, brass, bronze and pewter in the distress spray stain. While the bottle says it is a dye (the bronze & brass are very fluid and incorporated) the pewter looks like water with flecks of silver that float around separately. Also, doesn't spray as the other two do. Not sure if this is the way it is supposed to be or a defective bottle, either way it is not acceptable.

The metallic pigment adds texture to any project. Love the way it looks!
This sprays a puddle of clear substance and a few specks of silverish flakes. Not what I was expecting. I have shaken and shaken the bottle, nothing helps.

As some others have reported, I too have had problems with the pewter distress spray stain not spraying properly. I get way more drops, than actual silver colored spray. The coverage is very poor. The London Fog mica spray does a much better job of a silver colored shimmery spray.
