Distress Mica Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays work best with any paper/cardstock or any porous surface and react with water.
Wondering how you would describe the difference between iron gate and empty tombe?

how do you keep sprays from smearing?

Hello, it is recommended to make sure the sprays are fully dry to avoid smear. This can be done by giving it time to dry, using a heat tool to dry in between sprays. There is also Distress Resist Spray link and Distress Micro Glaze link that can be used on the completely dried projects/sprays to seal them.
