    • Distress Mica Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays work best with any paper/cardstock or any porous surface and react with water.
Tim Holtz Distress Mica Stains provide a brilliant, shimmering finish to papercrafts and mixed media projects. Easily adhered to paper, canvas, wood, fabric and other porous surfaces, these stains create eye-catching effects and can be combined with Distress Inks, Oxide Inks, Spray Stains, and Oxide Sprays.
Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray is a dye and pigment ink fusion that creates oxidized effects when sprayed with water. Use for quick and easy ink coverage on any porous surfaces. Spray through stencils, layer colors, spritz with water and watch the color mix and blend. By: Ranger Ink (04-Mar-25) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • how do you keep sprays from smearing?   By: dennyjo356 (08-Mar-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
This question is about a related product.
    • Hello, it is recommended to make sure the sprays are fully dry to avoid smear. This can be done by giving it time to dry, using a heat tool to dry in between sprays. There is also Distress Resist Spray link and Distress Micro Glaze link that can be used on the completely dried projects/sprays to seal them.
