The green of Bubbling Cauldron, the purple of Hocus Pocus and the golden brown of Crooked Broomstick are some of my absolute favourites in the Mica Stain range. SO happy to see them come back again. I have all the Halloween Mica Stains now and working my way through the Christmas colours. LOVE working with them.

Love these Distress Mica Sprays so much! The coordinate well with the rest of the Distress line but add that touch of sparkle you want for your holiday makes! Fingers crossed that these come back next year or we get some other special holiday colors!

Does the mica stain need any special care in using it? I sprayed a small amount on the corner of a scrapbook page and let it sit overnight. When I touched the page on one of the larger drops, it smeared on the page, and some came off on my finger. Does the product need to be heat set or treated in any way to prevent this?

I used regular cardstock. No shiny surface. I did not spray with water first. I will try again.

I used regular card stock and Kraft paper. I misted the paper with water first then sprayed with the colors.
