While there are many alphabets available, very few have the lower case “a” the way Kindergarten students need to see it so they can learn to make the letter. That’s what sets this alphabet apart from others. I love that both the upper and lower case letters are included in the set. I’ll be using it for flash cards and posters because of it’s clean look and easy readability.
I absolutely love the classic font style of these new alphabet dies! I also love that they cut through cardstock, patterned paper and thin chipboard like butter!

These dies are bold and more blocky. They're well-made and I got them to be able to put wording on signs when I need them. Scrapbook.com has some really nice products of their own. They are not in color--they are regular metal color and I'm glad for that. The colored photo is to help us see them better.

I'm concerned with the thickness of the alphas. I used a sticker sheet with alphas I have already on my Gemini Midi and it broke my folder. Are these alphas thin enough to use in the Midi?

How tall is the tallest letter? (e.g. l, b, d, f, j, k, p, q, h, g, y) How wide is the widest letter? (e.g. m, w) Can these be used on foam? I'd like to make alphabet stamps for each of my students in quarantine using foam dicuts and wooden blocks.

Hi! The uppercase dies measure approximately 1" high. The lowercase range in height from approximately 0.8" to 1.5". I measured the width of the uppercase W at 1 5/8-inch. The dies were easily able to cut 1/16-inch craft foam with the Tim Holtz Vagabond 2. Hope that helps :)
