I kind of bought this set on a whim, and boy am I glad I did! They are the perfect size for card sentiments (among other things), and you get both upper and lower case. They cut nicely and are chunky enough to put adhesive on.

I absolutely love these new alphabet dies! They come in such wonderfully classic font styles and the size is perfect for both cards and scrapbooking! Another added bonus...they cut through cardstock, patterned paper and thin chipboard like butter!

I think one of the toughest things is creating a font and size that will fit both cards and scrapbook pages well and these dies have done it! They are high quality and the price is reasonable for such a large set of alphas. These allow me to customize my cards easily!

I used these letter for my Grandson. You can use the double sided adhesives to permanently (purchased separately) put his name on any and everything. Plus, at the age of four he enjoys die cutting these letters too. Well turning the handle at least, he-he.

This set of dies is so versatile! you can die cut inlay, use the die cuts on projects, turn them into stamps! This is a definite staple product for your craft room. I love that you get upper and lower case too!

how is it that the lower case is taller than the upper case??? 
The measurement of 1.4" is in reference to the lowercase j, which is a long letter with a dot included on the die. It’s a bit larger than the capitals, but we assure you that it is sized proportionally!
