This would be a perfect packet for babies first year if the paper was not double sided. I just bought two packets .
I'm currently using the boy pack and find it makes those monthly layouts easy. Hope to start one for my granddaughter...before she graduates:)
I am giving these as a baby shower gift along with an album. The pages are very nice, laid out well and easy to use for a non-scrapbooker. I would say the back side is a bit busy, you would either have to scrap book over it or put in a blank page or have the months be back to back. If they were ever to redesign this I would say a nice line or two at the top or a header as to 1 month etc and the page color be soft muted colors that correspond to the front page.

what does the back side say
The back part of the paper corresponds with the front. So if you are working on "month one", the backside of the paper says "one month old" as a pattern. I used this packet for my grandson's 1st year and it turned out beautifully!
