This Precision Layering A2 B 16 piece etched metal die set is part of the Precision Layering Basics Collection from Spellbinders. These dies create precise layers for A2 (4.25" x 5.5") size cards spaced 1/8" apart. These dies are compatible with leading die cutting machines (sold separately). These dies can be used for layering on cards, photo matting, scrapbook pages, tags, journals, planners, and other paper crafting projects. The largest die measures 4.15" x 5.4", layer 4 measures 3.4" x 4.65", layer 8 measures 2.4" x 3.65", layer 12 measures 1.4" x 2.65", and layer 16 measures 0.4" x 1.65".
Like I stated in my last review for the Layering Die kit A2 A, I brought these to compliment and complete my collection. Again, sometimes you just want to create a nice border, or a nice layer to your cardmaking projects. Now to make my Matting basic A2 complete, I will be back for the A2 Matting Basics B. I will have all of the Spellbinders Matting and Layering collections they offer with Scrapbook.Com great prices.

What is the difference of the A2 A or A2 B sets of the Precision Layering Basics Collection Etched Dies?

Each set's layers offset by 1/8". If you buy set B, the measurement difference from layers in Set A is 1/16", so you would then be able to make precision layers at 1/16" offset from each other if you have both sets.
