The sandwich for a single-sided embossing folder in the Spellbinders Platinum machine (sold separately) is the Platform, the embossing folder with the material to be embossed inside and one Cutting Plate.
I am new to this. I guess I expected them to be the full size sheet like the dots that cam with my big shot plus bundle. I think the size should be in the visible description instead of the additional information you have to click on to see. I'll be sure to double check before ordering embossing folders in the future.

Absolutely gorgeous. I took a sheet of white paper and put a
6x6 double sided adhesive sheet from scrapbook.com over it. Then put a sheet of sizzix foil on top of both; smoothed it out and then embossed it with this beautiful folder. Then I placed dies on top and cut out shapes. Absolutely gorgeous! Love this folder.

This is another graceful, pretty design from Spellbinders. It has movement to it, but it's formal in design, more like plants being blown by the wind. I like it very much and am glad I bought it.
I bought this embossing folder for my fall card making and the impressions are crisp. The image really stands out and really helped to compliment my cards.

Is this a 3D or 2D folder? I haven�t been able o use 3D folders in my cutting machine so I want to be sure it is 2D.Thanks

Hello, we could not find details on if the folder is 2D or 3D. The packaged says detailed embossing folder, so we took a look at it here in the office and feel that it is closer to a 2D embossing folder than a 3D embossing folder.

Hi Wendy! The Distress Inks by Ranger were used in the video above. You can use either a stamp shammy or baby wipe to remove the ink from the embossing folders. We hope this helps.
