It’s been my experience with some paint that a very hot heat gun can burn or melt or cause the bubbling of surface paint. Does this occur with this product when the heat gun is too near the paddle? Does the painted paddle emit a noxious or toxic fume when it is heated? I have a homemade paddle that I use to emboss, and I have the surface of the paddle covered with tin foil. The nice thing is that I can see the reflection of the heat gun’s element in the tin foil, so I know it is suitably hot. Can I recommend that you sell a metal plate to go over the top of the paddle, to protect it, and your user?
