I don�t know

I haven’t really found this helpful. I think maybe for crafters doing cutting with blades or coloring details it would be good. Maybe I am too set in my ways. I would buy this again.

  No, the magnetic design board is sold deparately. If you want to use dies with the rotating design board you may want to purchase the mat and several companies have magnetic mats. Check YouTube to see what crafters are using. I am always amazed at their ingenuity - you may find some ideas other than a magnetic mat that may work for you.
