this is perfect for unique cards, Christmas will be a good time to use this die. Only one complaint I wished that it was more clear what I needed to get started like the cutting plates, one thing that would make it easier is precut paper to fit in the die. Other than that it's a good way to begin new cards'
the only reason I am giving this a 4 is because it was not clearly explained. I mis understood that that you do not have to buy just 1 plate and it would fit all the products, even the pop up's. so now I am waiting for the extended plates to use with it, and had to order another pop up cut out for those cards. so read very carefully on what you order, 1 plate does not fit all!!!
It took me a while to decide if I wanted to try this die because I make all my cards at A2 size and I have no problems cutting the cardstock to fit (it's only half a sheet, after all!). But being able to add a window in any formation to any location seemed to be a cool idea, and so I rather reluctantly gave in and ordered this, even though I figured I'd be wasting cardstock with having to cut a regular sheet larger than 'in half.' Well, I was wrong: just cut the sheet in half long-ways, put it on the die face up and run it through the Big Shot. It trims the card to just barely under A2, SCORES IT, and cuts the window perfectly! I was amazed. I made a dozen Halloween cards in less than one evening and my friends can't believe that I didn't have to punch out the windows by hand! Now I have to get the other window sizes and pieces, which will make this one of my most versatile dies ever.
i just love this there are so many possiblites you can use this for!!! it is a very good investment, i purchased all the mover and shapers kits, thats how much this one impressed me.
take a chance and purchase one and it will just swift you away. the imaginenation will just take you away!!!!!!!!!

I have had several die's for this but not the base plate - I have
had so much fun with my Christmas Cards making the 4 panel
window with Santa peeping etc.

Really like the way it is so easy to position and the different finished products. Although I found the finished card size a bit smaller to what I have been working with it is great.
I dislike how when it put it through my big shot it sounds and looks like the cutting plates are going to shatter. Very tight fit makes using this for multiple cards in one sitting a little difficult. But it does make a cut card.
This die makes such a cute card. These extra big dies are so easy to use. I love them.
Where have I been? This is a great idea. I used this template to make my holiday thank you cards. Placed a peek-a-book Christmas tree in the window. So many options can be used with this template!
