this item is to help you make impressions on your paper. I don't know if it is the impression or the set up all in all but the impression is a little weak. it does work and maby it was my paper and it was to thick. I would give it a try though it does have it job in making your impressions give it a try
I bought this to use with my Cuttlebug. It makes embossing with all stencils so very easy. It works with both brass and plastic stencils. Though designed for a Sizzix it works great in the Cuttlebug.
I am very pleased and excited to work with this product on the Big Shot Machine. I am into making my own greeting cards and this product has endless new possibilities for my cards. I love them.

I only own 1 die cutting machine and it is a Sizzix Big Shot Plus. So I bought this Impression Pad to accommodate my smaller dies, they get the job done.

Will the silicone pad help with my old original sizzix machine with the stand alone dies? I need some way to cut dies that don't come in the enclosed plastic and silicone pad.

Unfortunately, this will not likely work for that purpose as it is1/8" thick.
